Old, former McD employee here. The Bog Mac and cheeseburgers were made with 10/1 patties; 10 patties per pound. To the best of my knowledge that is still their standard. In my day it was a 85/15 mix. It is possible that they now use 80/20 or less and with the higher fat content there is more shrinkage on the final product.

Wouldn't it be easier to say 1/10lb patty rather than 10/1 patties; 10 patties per pound? I've never worked in a burger joint (other restaurants though) is that standard vernacular?
